Yachts from Eastern Poland on the Boat Show in Dusseldorf

On January 19 -27, 2013, 13 companies from Eastern Poland Macroregion, representing yachting industry, took part in Boot Düsseldorf 2013 - International Boat and Yacht Show.

Boot Düsseldorf Trade Fair is the biggest indoor type exhibition event in the world dedicated to the industries of yachting, sailing and water sports.

The fair gathers yachtsmen, sailors, canoeists, divers, surfers, sailors, boats and yachts designers and hobbyists, all of them under one roof.Various types of exhibits are presented in 18 halls - from the latest motor and sailing yachts, canoes, accessories and equipment, equipment for diving and other water sports, to charter companies and tourism organizations presenting a full range of offers related to active water recreation.

Over fifteen hundred exhibitors from multiple countries presented themselves during 9 days of this year’s edition.Like last year, yachts from Eastern Poland were presented together at two regional stands: a stand of 315 m2 in hall no 17 presented sailing yachts, and the other stand of 330 m2 in hall no 5 presented motor boats.

All of the boats were manufactured by the companies from Warmia and Mazury and Podlasie regions.Attractive location of the stands had a positive impact on the presentation of the Macroriegion’s companies, attracting multiple visitors.Yachts from Eastern Poland are considered to be of very high quality, which resulted in signing the first orders and contracts already at the fair.

The following 13 companies from eastern Poland presented their boats during this year’s edition: Sedna Yachts and Raptor from Białystok, Balt-Yacht, Pegazus, „ŚLEPSK” shipyard and J.M.W. Yachts from Augustów, Yacht Hornet, Pod Omegą and Haber Yachts from Iława, Surf from Mikołaki, Ahoj Czarter and Northman from Węgorzewo, and Nautiner Yachts Sp.z o. o. from Giżycko.

Participation of Eastern Poland representatives at the Boot Düsseldorf 2013 was organized by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, as part of Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme, Development of Eastern Poland Operational Programme, I.4 Promotion and Cooperation.
