Food industry has been the realm of Eastern Poland for a long time. Therefore, during SEOUL FOOD&HOTEL 2013 in Korea, entrepreneurs from the eastern provinces had the chance to present their goods. The exhibitors included fruit juice producers, dairies and companies specialising in cold meat production.

Taking place in South Korea, SEOUL FOOD&HOTEL, has been attracting numerous foreign companies operating in the food and hotel industry. The Korean market offers a great potential, particularly for the food producers. Hence, SEOUL FOOD&HOTEL 2013 could not miss the companies from the Eastern Poland Macroregion, which, in addition to a strong position at home, have been successfully conquering international markets.  Most of the 12 exhibitors participating in the trades represented the Lublin Province - a region popular with food companies and professional, specialised farms.

The high quality food from Eastern Poland is appreciated and popular not only in Poland but also abroad, particularly because of the taste. Hence the high interest and the popularity of our producers during SEOUL FOOD&HOEL 2013. Eastern Poland stand was visited by Korean importers, food industry representatives and Korean media. Journalists from Seoul were particularly interested in the fruit and vegetable processing as well as organic farms and high quality food they produce, and with which they identify Poland.
