Representatives of Eastern Poland on a mission in Singapore

From 14 to 16 August this year, representatives of technology parks and special economic zones from Eastern Poland took part in an investment mission in Singapore.

The mission's agenda included a seminar on investment opportunities in Poland attended by representatives of 20 companies from Singapore. During the meeting, Bożena Czaja, Member of the Management Board of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), presented the general economic situation of Poland. Issues related to investing in special economic zones in Eastern Poland were also discussed, and forms of conducting business activity in Poland, Polish tax system and investment opportunities in the power industry were presented.

Guests also participated in a meeting with the Singapore Business Federation, which gathers the largest entrepreneurs in Singapore. Furthermore, they visited two highly specialised technology parks that host the world's largest pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies.

The project was financed with EU funds, as a part of the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme implemented by PAIiIZ.
