Polish entrepreneurs at the most prestigious fair in Europe

Almost 40 entrepreneurs from Eastern Poland have taken part in most prestigious fair events in Europe - Boot Dusseldorf, Interiors UK and Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris. The study missions were organised by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency within the framework of the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme.

Through the Agency’s support, within the period of 18-26 January, sixteen Polish leaders of the yacht and water sports industry have the opportunity to present their products during the largest fair of the industry in the world, namely BOOT Düsseldorf in Germany.Each year, the event that is held in 17 exhibition halls gathers as many as 1600 exhibitioners from all over the world.Yachts, charters, harbours or sport products from Poland are presented at two stands from Eastern Poland – in the sailing hall and in the motor hall.It is the third edition of the fair where the Polish businesses are taking part under the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme.

At the same time, the newest trends in the global design and furniture are observed by representatives of companies from Eastern Poland during the Interiors Design UK fair held in Birmingham.The event which attracts almost 30,000 visitors each year is of particular importance in the light of the growing demand for Polish furniture in the UK.Export of furniture and upholstery products from Poland to the UK has reached in 2011 the level of over GBP 180 million and is still growing.The Polish stand – as large as 165 square meters – presents the offer of 19  furniture producers from Eastern Poland specially selected by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. These are the best of the best in the industry.

In the period from 24 to 28 January, 12 representatives of the Polish lingerie sector from Eastern Poland will take part in the special 50th edition of the international fair Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris.Each year the fair is visited by almost 20,000 guests from all over the world.

Participation in this most prestigious fair in Europe has been organised by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency under the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme, Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland, Measure I.4 Promotion and Cooperation.(PAIiIZ)
