Promotion of Polish design in Japan was discussed during the seminar, which was held on 29 April in PAIiIZ. Agency’s deputy president Anna Polak-Kocińska took part in the meeting.
Participants looked at Polish - Japanese cooperation opportunities in industrial design. During the discussion, PAIiIZ deputy president Anna Polak-Kocińska declared the will to organise an exhibition of Polish artists in Japan under the project entitled “Designed in Poland”.
The presence of Polish companies representing such sectors as: ICT, pharmacy, fashion and design in Japan proves that the Polish business is increasingly interested in Japanese market. Cooperation between NRDC and two Japanese agencies - Japan Coal Agency (JCOAL) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) on promotion of joint R&D projects are some of the best examples of mutual collaboration. Also Pharmaceutical Research Institute has registered several patents in Japan.
