On 21 September beekeepers from Podkarpacie promoted their honeys in the Edeka delicatessen in Düsseldorf.
They included The Podkarpacki Honeydew that holds the EU certificate confirming protected geographical indication (PGI), linden, sycamore and propolis honey. The honeys have been sold by the Dusseldorf shops for some time already. 250 gjar of the Podkarpacki Honey costs 7 euro, that is over 30 złoty.
Presentation and promotion was organised with the help of Kornelia Golombek, who visits International Ecological Food and Products Fair Ekogala in Rzeszów every year and is engaged in different Polish-German cooperation projects, including promotion of Polish food. It is worth mentioning that the promotional stand of the Podkarpackie Province was visited by Stanisław Hebda, Polish Consul in Cologne.
Another presentation of the Podkarpackie honeys is already in progress. Therefore, the High Quality Food Division in the Agricultural Department of the Marshall Office invites the beekeepers from Podkarpacie to cooperation. However, only high quality honeys can be appreciated by the German consumers.
