Since the beginning of 2014, foreign companies decided to invest €1,244.44m and implement 17 investment projects in Poland. As a result 4,733 jobs will be created.
The United States, Germany and the United Kingdom lead in terms of the country of origin of investments. The Agency supports 39 projects from the U.S. that are worth €909.65m and should deliver 6,291 new jobs. German investors will implement 29 projects (total value of €530.65 m, 7,112 planned jobs). 10 investment projects come from the UK (total value of €8.55m 1,425 planned jobs). The following places followed by French and Japanese investors (9 projects each).
In terms of the sectors, the majority projects come form BPO (32 projects, value of €22.75m 8,720 planned new jobs). The leader is followed by automotive (30 projects, value of €1,711.25m 8,879 planned new jobs) and R&D (11 projects, value of €19.5m, 1,086 planned new jobs), aviation (10 projects) and electronic (8 projects) sectors.
Currently PAIiIZ supports 152 investment projects worth €3,341.45m that may create 31,754 new jobs in the future.
