More active engagement of Chinese investors

Business opportunities for Polish companies in the central city of Sichuan Province as well as Chinese investments in Poland were discussed during the meeting of PAIiIZ president Sławomir Majman with the delegation of Chengdou that was held on 17 July.

Polish side introduced the guests from China with the investment potential of Poland. Both sided discussed also the way how to increase the bilateral business cooperation.

“We are interested not only in close cooperation with China as a country, but also with particular Chinese provinces regions and cities, especially those from the west of China - said president Majman. “We would like Chinese capital to participate in the creation of new jobs in Poland,” he added.

The Chinese delegation consisted of: Xiu Zhongwen, vice inspector of Chengdu Municipal Committee of Economy and Informatization; Wang Chaoying, Party Secretary of Chengdu Municipal Committee of Agriculture; Zhang Hongling, Deputy division director of the Foreign Economy Division of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce; Zhang Bingyu, Level-7 Staff of Innovation & Development Division of Science and Technology Bureau of Chengdu Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and Zhang Dong Staff of Chengdu International Convention and Exhibition Service Center.

Chengdu is the largest city in the western part of China and the capital of Sichuan Province. The Business visit was arranged by PAIiIZ.
