Marshal Jarosław Dworzański is the 21st representative of Poland in the Committee of Regions of the European Union

The 27th General Assembly of Association of Provinces of the Republic of Poland, held on 21 March 2014 in Karpacz, designated Jarosław Dworzański, Marshal of the Podlaskie Province, to be a member of the Committee of the Regions of the European Union.

Thus, Podlaskie Province is the second region in the country, just behind Pomorskie Province, that is represented in the Committee of the Regions by a marshal and president of the city – capital city of the region.

During the election, Marshal Dworzański did not have any competition and was elected with one voice.
