Investors from Eastern Poland visit AIM in Dubai

Polish delegation consisting of companies and self-government representatives from Eastern Poland Macroregion took part in the ANNUAL INVESTMENT MEETING (AIM) in Dubai. During the investment forum, the participants had the opportunity to introduce the investment potential of their companies and regions and talk directly to the prospective investors from the United Arab Emirates.

AIM has become a permanent fixture on the calendars of the investors around the world. Every year, it attracts entrepreneurs and representatives of the highest authorities from Asia, Europe, Africa and North America in search for new investment fields.  

The Annual Investment Meeting forum is organised under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktouma, the Prime Minister and the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, while the main organiser of AIM is the UEA Ministry of Economy headed by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri.

This year, Eastern Poland Macroregion was represented by a strong group of entrepreneurs and self-government officials. The delegation not only attended the Forum but also conducted several meetings in Hamiriyah Free Zone and met with the the Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA). Moreover, representatives of the companies and self-governments took part in Africa Global Business Forum organised by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, the participants familiarised with the investment potential of the African countries and discussed new economic perspectives for Africa, including new paths of cooperation with other countries.

The popularity of Eastern Poland’s stand during AIM drew the attention and attracted both the forum’s visitors and the UEA’s media. Officials representing PAIiIZ, the Macroregion’s self-government units and the companies had the opportunity to present the investment offer in media, which will definitely extend the offer’s coverage and help to reach potential investors.

The companies exhibiting products on the Polish stand during AIM represented food industry (Bartex, EkoLukta Dairy, Lactex, Lubsad, Lapy Dairy Cooperative, Uren Novaberry), furniture industry (Meblodex), industry sector (Remog, Royal-Star), luxury goods and yachts (Balt Yacht, Mellody Yachts, Nautiners, Sedna Yachts), and hotel industry (Binkowski Hotel, Ryn Castle, Zbyszko, Condohotels Management).
