On 23 February – 3 March Polish machinery, metalworking and aviation industry representatives from Eastern Poland had an opportunity to promote their products and services in India.
The promotional event “Polish Road Show” was co-organised by PAIiIZ, Polish Embassy in New Delhi and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Included in the visit was participation in three seminars on Poland and Eastern Poland’s investment potential and cooperation between the Polish and Indian partners, and in three B2B meetings.
B2B meetings in New Delhi
The meetings took place in New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad, locations recommended by the Polish Embassy in New Delhi and FICCI with consideration to the profiles of companies qualified for the mission.
Seminar in Bangalore with Minister Dariusz Bogdan
The high profile of all events was undoubtedly one of the reasons for Indians’ strong interest in Poland. During the first seminar (in New Delhi), the panellists included Professor Marek Belka, President of the National Bank of Poland, and representative of the Embassy, Piotr Opaliński, Counsellor-Minister – Head of the Political Department in New Delhi. The other seminars (in Bangalore and Hyderabad) were attended by Dariusz Bogdan, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, and Janusz Wach, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai.
A visit to Luxus company cooperating with the Polish company Komandor
The popularity of Poland and Polish companies was tremendous. The mission proved to be a great opportunity to meet Indian partners, start new, valuable business relations and share the experience.

The participants also had a chance to talk to the representatives of Polish companies that already cooperate with Indian partners (Bella, which has moved part of its production line near Bangalore) and Indian Luxus manufacturing European standard sliding doors wardrobes for Polish Komandor. Included in the agenda was also a visit to Luxus’ plant.
B2B meetings in Hyderabad
The event was part of Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme, Measure I.4 Promotion and Co-operation of the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland.
