On 23-25 April 2013, ten aviation companies from Eastern Poland took part in the “AEROMART Montreal” conference.
Undertaken in relation with the “Aeromart Montreal - International Business Convention for the aerospace industry”, this economic field mission to Montreal (Canada) offered the entrepreneurs representing Eastern Poland’s aviation sector an opportunity to establish direct relations with the event’s business partners.
Organised by the BCI Aerospace, a leading provider and organiser of professional events for the aerospace and defence industry, the event was supported by the world’s most important aviation companies, such as: Bombardier, Pratt&Whitney, Bell, EADS and Safran. The mission’s programme included active participation in the conference and B2B meetings as well as promotion of individual companies along with the whole macroregion in the mini-stand. The potential of Polish aviation industry was also presented by the Ministry of Economics under the general promotional programme that is conducted in Canada. The Ministry organised a promotional stand featuring Poland and a conference held on 24 April dedicated to Polish aerospace companies, which was also attended by the entrepreneurs from Eastern Poland.
The presence of Polish companies in the Aeromart was actively supported by the Unit for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Consulate General of Poland in Montreal, which, shortly after the finished conference, organised on its premises a conference dedicated to the aviation sector’s potential, inviting mission participants representing Eastern Poland. The conference ended with a business networking that engaged Polish and the invited Canadian companies.
