The group of 10 entrepreneurs representing machine and metal sector from Eastern Poland participated in the economic mission to France.
Within the mission, which lasted from 18th to 21st September, 2012, the representatives of 10 companies from machine and metal sector from Eastern Poland, visited Paris and Lille. The entrepreneurs took part in many business meetings with local businessmen. The economic mission was organized by PAIiIZ S.A. (Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency) in cooperation with the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France.(CIPPF)
Seminar in Lille
The companies specializing in the production of metal elements, steel structures, manufacturers of special machinery for paper industry, as well as manufacturers of all kinds of machinery and equipment, presented their offers during the meetings.
On the first day of the mission the entrepreneurs from Eastern Poland participated in the meeting organized in cooperation with the local chamber of commerce CCI International Nord-Pas de Calais, during which they had the chance to learn about the specificity of machine and metal market in France, particularly concerning the north region, as well as to learn about its tendencies of development in the last years, and the possibilities for cooperation. Urszula Majorkiewicz, the General Secretary of CIPPF, and Laurie Grzechnik from Lille Chamber of Commerce were the speakers, and the seminar was followed by B2B meetings .
Seminar in Lille in Trade and Investment Promotion Section of Polish Embassy
In Paris, the group of entrepreneurs participated in the seminar organized in cooperation with WPHiI (Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Paris); the speakers were Katarzyna Krajewska, the First Secretary of WPHiI (Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy) and Hanna Stypulkowska-Goutierre, the President of CIPPF. The moderator of the debate was Mr. Olivier Blic, the Chairman and Managing Director of a French company POINT EST, the company operating in the Polish market for many years. He presented, in practical terms, the strategy of searching for partners in France and the forms of appearing in the French market. After the official part, the Polish companies participated in a B2B meeting, organized especially for them.
The program of the mission also included visits to two French metal companies: Sefram – located near Lille, and Maflow France Automotive, near Paris. Maflow France Automotive has been a part of the Polish Group Boryszew for the last two years.

The following companies participated in the mission: Nafta–Gaz–Serwis from Sanok, Krystian PPH from Lublina, Huta Stalowa Wola and Technology Incubator from Stalowa Wola, Starpol II from Starachowice, Chemrem-Organika from Nowa Sarzyna, Intech from Daleszyce, Przedsiębiorstwo Ślusarsko-Budowlane L.Pluta (Locksmithing and Building Company L.Pluta) from Kielce, Biko-Serwis from Chęciny and Instal Białystok.
The participation in the mission was organized by PAIiIZ S.A. (Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency) as part of Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme, Development of Eastern Poland Operational Programme, Measure I.4 Promotion and Co-operation.
