Białystok awarded for investments

According to a new ranking made by the fortnightly Community – Territorial Self-Government, Białystok has been the fourth city among the capitals of provinces in terms of investing in technical infrastructure. The classification took note of the investment activity pursued by the city.

Ranking creators take into account all self-government investments. They focus on investments addressed at developing technical infrastructure, which is directly linked to creating conditions for economic development and new jobs. The ranking was prepared by the team headed by Professor Paweł Swianiewicz from the University of Warsaw.

Detailed information concerning the rating will be presented during the 9th Self-Government Capital and Finance Forum in Warsaw on 9 October 2013.
